Glad that a Guyanese has won the title
Dear Editor,
First, the for the good news. So proud and pleased to learn that one of our country-women has won the title of Mrs. New York, and now has a chance to try later in the year for the “Mrs. International” title. Beauty and brains combined. Unbeatable. This great news somehow seemed to offset the ongoing Providence saga. We should now be prepared to keep a beady eye on the Asian tigers, feared so much by the West a few years ago. Mischief seems to be afoot – in the language of the Bard.
