Pele Alumni Corporation assists students of Werk-en-Rust

American chapter of the local Pele FC presented a quantity of school kits and footwear to students of the Werk-en-Rust community. The presentation took place at Brickdam presbytery yesterday.
Chairman of the organisation Denis Carrington urged the youths to focus on their education and remain discipline. He said that it is a privilege to support the youths and their way of giving back to the society.
Carrington added that they will host a coaching clinic during the week and an awards banquet on Friday night at Georgetown Club where they will present laptops to the winners of their recent essay competition. The chairman informed that high school students will also benefit from their scholarships and plans to establish a Pele FC Hall of Fame are in the making.
