GCA/NBS second division final set for tomorrow
Arch-rivals Georgetown Cricket Club and Demerara Cricket Club will clash in the final of the Georgetown Cricket Association/ New Building Society second division 40-over tournament tomorrow at Bourda.
Both teams boast a number of exciting players; GCC will look to the likes of Devon Lord, Martin Pestano Belle, Ronaldo Mohamed, Manny Forde and Steffan Wilson, while DCC will depend on Sherfene Rutherford, Dennis Squires, Raymond Perez, Ashmead Nedd and West Indies U19 World Cup winner Tevin Imlach for success. Action gets underway at 11:00 hrs and the umpires are Zaheer Mohamed and Deon Faessal.
In the Trophy Stall, GISC, Star Party Rentals first division two-day which starts on Saturday, Malteenoes SC will host UG (Clyde Layne and Shannon Crawford) and Everest will take on Transport SC at Eve Leary (Javed Persaud and Cyril Garnath).
