Trophy Stall on board with WCC
The Wakenaam Cricket Committee (WCC) has gained the backing of Trophy Stall for the
Zaheer Mohamed receives the first place trophy on behalf on the WCC from Devi Sunich.
staging of its T20 competition which commenced recently.
The company at their Bourda Street branch yesterday handed over the trophies which will be given to the winning and runner teams, man-of-the-match in the final, best batsman and bowler as well as medals to the committee.
In an invited comment Mrs. Devi Sunich of Trophy Stall said they are pleased to be associated with the competition, adding that she is looking forward to a successful tournament. She stated that this is one way of giving back to the society and wish the teams well.
Zaheer Mohamed, who received the trophies on behalf of the WCC, expressed gratitude to the entity for their contribution to the sport on the island.
Good Success, Sans Souci, Sans Souci Jaguars, Zeelandia, Maria’s Pleasure, Noitgedacht and G Square Cavaliers of Belle Plaine are the teams battling for supremacy.
