Leonora overcome Zeeburg
Leonora defeated Zeeburg when the West Demerara Cricket Association second division 40-over tournament continued recently with a number of matches.
Zeeburg were sent packing for 83 in 24 overs, batting first. G. Narine made 16 as R. Rahaman claimed 5-7 and H. Kowlessar 4-20. Leonora replied with 84-2 in 12 .2 overs. P. Persaud got 38; Nairne took 2-12.
Meten Meer Zorg beat Zeelugt in their match up.
