ALBION NAME SUB COMMITTEES FOR 2016
THE newly-elected executives of the Albion Community Centre Cricket Club, under the presidency of Imtiaz Baccus met recently and have named the Club’s various Sub-Committees, captains and vice-captains of the Club’s respective teams among others for the year 2015.
The Club’s Selection Committee will once again be chaired by Vemen Walter and will include Orvin Mangru and Romeo Singh along with the captain of the team in question.
Vice-President Singh heads the Disciplinary Committee with Totaram Haricharran, Dhanraj Budhu, Baccus and Walter being the other members.
Walter will also chair the Cricket Development Committee with Sew Misir, Mangru, Doorasammy Thimmaryan, Baccus and the Club’s coach Andre Percival making up the reminder of the committee.
Treasurer David Latchaya is the chairman of the fund-raising committee which will also comprise of businessmen Permaul Mangali and Devendra Permaul, Aslim Amerally, Josiah Dhanai and Singh
West Indies left-arm-spinner Veerasammy Permaul was re-appointed as captain of the Club’s First Division Team with fellow West Indies spinner Davendra Bishoo as his deputy. In the event both Permaul and Bishoo are unavailable, Jonathan Foo will lead the team.
National Under-17 batsman Adrian Sukhwa will captain the Club’s Second Division Team with Berbice Under 17 left-arm-spinner Joshua Harricharan as the vice-captain. First Class left-arm-spinner Gudakesh Motie will be the man captaining the club’s Under 21 Team with Sharaz Ramcharran being his vice-captain.
Sukhwa and Haricharran are the captain and vice-captain respectively of the Under-19 team while Kelvin Omroe will captain the Under-17 Team

Gouraf Ramesh is the Club’s Under-15 captain with Saif Amoi as the vice-captain.
The club’s various teams will be managed by Walter with Singh providing assistance. Baccus and Harricharran are the club’s two representatives on the Albion Community Centre Council.
Baccus and Walter will be representing the club at the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) level.
