Wartsila to manage Skeldon’s power engines
Officials of Wartsila Corp (Americas) on Friday met with the newly appointed Board of Directors for Skeldon Energy Inc. (SEI) at the Marriott Hotel, Georgetown. Wartsila is expected to manage the SEI.
The SEI Board comprises Dr. Lloyd Rose – Chairman; Gobin Harbhajan – Director; Veerasammy Ramayya – Director; and Leslie Gonsalves – Director.
The Wartsila officials were Tomas Ronn – Vice President Wartsila Corp (Americas); Andre Bosman – Director, SU Caribbean & Central America; Marc Tarbox – General Manager, Sales – Contracts and Projects; Services Unit; Aaron Fraser – Wartsila Guyana and Yusuf Abul – GuySuCo (GM).
Wartsila manages several power engines for the state-owned Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL). The company has been here for two decades now.
