visited long before Christmas. Yesterday, old St Nick came in the form of the Guyana Christian Charities, Canada, through its tireless Emissary, ‘Sister H’, who touched down in the impoverished communities of D’Urban Backlands squatting area and Tiger Bay, distributing toys and clothing.
Scores of residents left their early Christmas cleaning to collect their share of the goodies.
