Passengers’ money being stolen at airport
Dear Sir,
I was reading the Kaieteur News online and came across a letter in the editorial section where a security officer stole a passenger’s money.
This is not the first time this has happened. A family member of mine was leaving Guyana in July and at the boarding gate the female officer asked her to turn her phone on and off while her hands were in the lady’s hand bag.
The officer opened the zip in the hand bag to where the money was and was fumbling. When she got to her destination half of her money was missing.
I would be grateful if Kaieteur News can do an investigation on this matter informing people. And I do hope that this matter will be investigated with some charges be laid because a lot of people have lost their earnings.
