Dear Editor,
My…my…is Vincent Alexander seeking to earn “brownie points”?
Now is this idea of his going to help improve the condition and performances of President’s College? The whole report highlighted the problems and difficulties that President’s College is current experiencing and instead of addressing them he purports to have a renaming done!
Where is Vincent Alexander sense of balance and reality?
Is a renaming going to solve the current difficulties being faced?
Seems to be pure posturing and trying to gain brownie points in my opinion.
In its early days of its existence President’s College had the best students heading there but all too soon the government changed and so too the strength of it faded.
Academic performance lessened.
Now look at the current problems to wit,
1. first and foremost is infrastructural support, including the aesthetics of the school,
2. repairs, a swimming pool, parking lot for the teachers, and
3. a multipurpose hall. We do not have one, so whenever there is a function it is held in the dining hall,”
And what does Vincent Alexander talk about? … renaming of the school.!!
This is so ridiculous that it begs the question: why is Vincent Alexander in that job?
There should be no name change.
It serves no clearer purpose than what LFS wanted.
He did not want his name as part of the college, a fact which Vincent Alexander should go and check up. That LFS founded it was sufficient for him.
LFS’s hope was that the name would be an eternal one and would be supported by any future President, as the name of the founder would be an eternal one.
Vincent Alexander…drop that foolish thought of renaming.
Think deeply mister. Carl Veecock
