Rosignol snackette owner robbed in high daylight
A Rosignol businessman who operates a snackette along the Rosignol stelling road was on Tuesday robbed by two armed bandits in broad daylight.
According to information, around 14:30hrs on Tuesday, businessman Shuadeo Ragbeer, 25, was about to close his snackette when two masked armed men, both dressed in camouflage entered the snackette and accosted Ragbeer. The men tied the owner and dragged him to the back of the business place as they demanded cash and jewelry even as they beat him.
The man was badly beaten as the bandits escaped with $50,000 in cash, one gold band, a quantity of cigarettes and a quantity of GT&T and Digicel phone cards.
The matter was reported and investigations are continuing.
