Pawn Shop coalition dominoes competition was contested on Sunday at their location in Robb Street.
In a keenly contested final, All Seasons scored 75 games to edge Turning Point who drew the bye to the final with 74 and Hustlers on 73. Donald Perreira made the maximum 18 games for the runner up team while Roy Persaud and Sandra Nurse made 12 each. Stephan Duncan got the maximum 18 and Andrew Young 14 for Hustlers. All Seasons overcame Hustlers and Rage in the semi final.
Perreira was given the most valuable player award while All Seasons pocketed $130,000, Turning Point $50,000 and Hustlers $30,000.
Secretary of the Georgetown Dominoes Association, Barbara Marshall thanked the sponsors and congratulated the winners. She added that this tournament -a coalition, was the first of its kind and calls for more competition of this nature and lauded the players for their discipline.
