Felony accused out on bail
Frank Thomas, of Ann’s Grove East Coast Demerara (ECD) was placed on $50,000 bail after it was alleged

he attempted to commit a felony.
Particulars of the charge stated that on March 14, at Arangoy Landing, Cuyuni River, he broke and entered the business place of Simone Simon, to steal from therein.
Thomas, a pork knocker, was unrepresented by an attorney. He pleaded not guilty to the charge after it was read to him by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
No facts about what transpired on the day in question were provided to the courtroom by the prosecution.
However, the prosecution informed the court that the defendant was charged for simple larceny last year.
Thomas is expected to make his next court appearance on March 26, at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court.
