Basketball aficionado, Lawrence Simon of Amelia’s Ward, Linden, was on Sunday elected President of the
Lawrence Simon
Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) when that subsidiary of the national federation held its Annual General Meeting and Biennial Elections at the Toucan Call Centre.
The 2015-2017 LABA Executive also includes First Vice-President Andrew McBean, Second Vice-President, Eze Wilson, Secretary, Joseph Chapman, Treasurer, Chantel Brooks, Assistant Secretary, Danica Barker-Chase, Assistant Treasurer, Shawnette Smith, Organising Secretary, Christopher Pollydore, Public Relations Officer, Collin Adams and Committee Members, Ashton Angel (Jr.), Omally Sampson, Kevin Joseph, Eusi Francis and Shauna Chester.
