AAG to host Cross Country Sunday in Linden
The Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) will host a Cross Country Race in Linden, Sunday, which is set to begin and finish at the Bayrock Ground in Wismar. The Cross Country follows on the heels of AAG Development Meet last weekend.
According to an AAG Press Release yesterday the race “will make its way through a network of streets”. The race is expected to begin at 2pm and will feature varying distances for the different age groups with medals being awarded to the top finishers.
The age groups are: 13-15 Years Boys and Girls (1km); Youth Females 16-17 Years (2km); Youth Males (3km); Junior Females (U-18 & U-20s) – 3km; Junior Males (4km) and Open Males (6km).
