Endurance Race/Fun Day to start off GMR&SC season
The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) will open its season with the staging of an Endurance race and Fun Day on February 8, at the South Dakota Circuit.
According to an official from the GMR&SC, the day’s activities will include a two-hour Endurance Race, Dexterity and Reverse races and a Time Attack.
The official added that competitors will be asked to pay $2000 to enter the competition and admission for spectators is $500.
Starting time is 11:00 hrs.
Meanwhile, the Club will be staging its Annual General Meeting today to elect office bearers and incumbent President John Carpenter is tipped to return unopposed.
