Deon Paul appeared in front of Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court Friday last, charged with damage to property charge.
Paul, a conductor, on October 22, allegedly unlawfully and maliciously damaged one minibus belonging to Clebert Forde. He was also charged with unlawfully resisting a police constable in the execution of his duties.
Paul who was unrepresented, was subsequently fined $75,000 on one charge and $10,000 for resisting arrest.
