A Customs broker is in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), after his motorcycle collided with a speeding vehicle on the Ruimzeight, West Coast Demerara Public Road.

Arvin Seepersaud, 20, of 56 De Willem, West Coast Demerara was reportedly hurled off of his motorcycle during the collision which occurred around 8:00 hours on Thursday.
He sustained a fractured right leg, wrist and hip.
According to an eye-witness, the driver of a Toyota Raum had just overtaken a vehicle when he crashed into Seepersaud who was riding his motorcycle on the opposite side of the public road.
The man was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital by public spirited citizens where he was treated and subsequently transferred to GPHC.
His father, Karan Seepersaud, said that the driver was released on bail yesterday at the Leonora Police Station.
His father said, “All I want is justice for my son, everybody know the driver was wrong. We hear he get release yesterday, and he didn’t even show up to see if my son dead. The police should do something about this.”
