Peeping Tom’s twisted logic
DEAR EDITOR,
It’s amazing how people can be so simple minded or in fact obtuse to the point where they unwittingly expose their political bias.
Peeping Tom in today’s Edition of the Kaieteur News, (August 28, 2014) opined that the entire City Council should resign until such time as the Local Government Elections are held.
This is exactly what Freedom House wants, to deny the right of citizens, to elect their representatives, by refusing to hold Local Government Elections.
And second, Peeping Tom must have been aware that when this position was touted in 1994, it was to install a PPP dominated Council.
I challenge Peeping Tom to provide a list of persons whom he considers, and from which political Party to run the Council, and who will identify such persons. It is about time that people cease writing nonsense to avoid the real issue, to change the city to be managed by a competent person, and to respect the will of the citizens. We are very disappointed of Peeing Tom’s twisted logic.
