ACDA stages Emancipation Dominoes tourney
Domino players will engage in keen competition when the African Cultural and Developmental Association (ACDA) Sports Committee hosts a Dominoes competition in observance of Emancipation Day activities at the Guyana Veteran Legion Hall, Carifesta Avenue starting this morning.
Several teams will vie for honours and lucrative medals and trophies including the Post Office Girls domino team, ACDA domino team and a rest team among others. Consequently, the finals will be staged at the National Park on Friday August 1 starting at 12 noon.
The teams will contest for trophies, medals and cash donated by corporate Guyana and would be given to the winners, runners-up and third place team. The organizer is Johnny Barnwell.
