GCB Inter County U-17 bowls off tomorrow
Defending champions Essequibo will open their campaign against Demerara tomorrow at Enmore when the Guyana Cricket

Board (GCB) Inter County U-17 50-over tournament commences.
Nathan Persaud will lead the Cinderella County and will have Sadiq Mohamed as his deputy. The squad also includes the talented Kemo Paul, who is one of the six U-19 players in the Guyana Amazon Warriors franchise team, Left arm spinner Akini Adams, Kevin Martinborough and Wayne Fernandes.
The experienced Travis Persaud will spearhead a strong Demerara side which includes Ronaldo Mohamed, Sherfene Rutherford, Malcolm Hubbard and Kelvin Sewpersaud.
Berbice who are yet to declare their team will take on Essequibo in the second round on Thursday at Wales while arch rivals Demerara will face Berbice in the final round on Saturday at Everest.
Meanwhile, the players selected on the Demerara team are asked to report today at the Demerara Cricket Club at 14:00 hrs for practice session.
