Four masked gunmen stormed a West Coast Berbice gas station on Thursday, around 16:00 hrs

and carted off millions of dollars, including the owner’s and employees’ cellular phones.
Additionally, they interfered with the security cameras on the premises and removed the DVR, leaving no trace to their presence.
The 15-minute-long incident took place in broad daylight during opening hours at Feroz Service Station at Number Six Village, West Coast Berbice. The three employees, Alvin Jaggeet, Satnarine Ram, and Arjune Samlall, were too traumatized to speak.
The Proprietor is Feroz Ishahack, who also deals in vehicles and spare parts.
A relative said yesterday, “They rushed out of a silver-Grey Spacio and they brought everybody in and put them to lie down flat in the gas station. They then told the person there to give them all the cash.”
Afterwards, they escaped in the waiting car and headed for the direction of Georgetown.
“They timed them and like they drove past earlier,” the relative added.
Up to press time, police were still investigating the robbery. No suspects were held.
