Guyanese man, 23, arrested in St. Kitts for father’s shooting
St Kitts (the stkittsnevisobserver) – Police have arrested Krishna Chatram, a Guyanese, in connection with the shooting

of his father, Shawn Chatram, Wednesday night.
Chatram, according to reports, was shot twice at around 10 pm, Wednesday night at Pinneys Beach.
Superintendent Hilton Brandy told the Observer that elder Chatram went night fishing, and upon his return, he was attacked and injured.
He received two gunshot wounds, one to his abdomen and mouth, and was transported to the Alexandra Hospital where he underwent surgery.
The Observer understands that the wounded man was able to tell police who had shot him by writing it on paper since he was unable to talk.
Krishna, 23, was arrested at the hospital.
Information reaching The Observer is that Chatram and his son had had a falling out last week and he threw his son out of the house.
As at press time, Thursday evening police had not informed of any charges being laid but did say the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
