WDCL/Bharakat Brothers tourney to conclude today
The West Demerara Cricket League/ Bharakat Brothers competition is set to climax today. Leonora Youth Club, Meten Meer Zorg (West), Zeeburg Sports Club and Uitvlugt Invaders were the teams involved in the semi finals which were played yesterday.
Winners of respective matches will clash in the final at Meten Meer Zorg today at 11:00hours for the first prize of $200,000 and a trophy while the runner up will receive $75,000.
Prizes will also be given to emerging cricketer, bowler with the most wickets; batsman with the most runs and best all rounder of the tournament as well as man of the match, best bowler and batsman in the final.
