Seven disciplines identified by GOA for Commonwealth Games

Seven disciplines have been identified by the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) for possible participation at the upcoming Commonwealth Games scheduled to be held from July 23-August 3 in Glasgow, Scotland in the United Kingdom.
The disciplines identified are: Athletics, Boxing, Swimming, Squash, Rifle Shooting, Table Tennis and Cycling.
According to a release, the various teams are now being finalised.
Meanwhile, Guyana will be sending a group of athletes to participate in the 1st South American Beach Games which will be held in Vargas, Venezuela May 14-24.
The disciplines identified are:
1 Female Rugby team
1 Male Rugby team
1 Male Open Water Swimmer
1 Beach Volley female couple
1 Beach Volley male couple
