THE RECENT POLICE RESHUFFLE
Dear Editor,
With reference to the subject, Guyanese need to remain focus on the recent distraction to the hierarchy of the Guyana Police Force by the authorities.
This lame explanation given that this reshuffling is merely to fill vacancies is very absurd, and also a total insult to our intelligence. To overlook senior and qualified officers to fill these positions is an orchestrated plan to suit the purpose of this P.P.P regime.
With elections to be held soon, the P.P.P does not want officers in strategic positions that they cannot give direct instructions to.
Hicken and Watts are known for their aggression and hot temperament, so they are placed at ‘A’ Division and T.S.U respectively.
The P.P.P Government does not look at professionalism but rather put people in position who they can instruct, to harass people. It is disgusting Mr. Commissioner (ag).
