Mayor of Georgetown, His Worship Hamilton Green was officially reinstated as Patron of the Georgetown Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (GCU&SA) following at

meeting which was held recently at his office with some members of the GCU&SA executive committee.
The Patron was presented with a folder which included a copy of the constitution and a list of the members.
Green in comments said he has a great love and respect for umpires and believes they are a major force in the society that helps to teach people to respect rules and decisions. Green indicated his willingness to support the organisation in any way possible and encouraged the association to take umpiring to schools.
