Valvoline supports March 23 Race Meet
Indisputably one of the biggest supporters of motor racing in Guyana, Sankar Auto Works under its Valvoline brand handed over a cheque for an undisclosed sum to representative of the Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) Desiraa Lee, at the Company’s business location, Durey Lane, yesterday.
Valvoline representative Shiva Sankar hands over the sponsorship cheque to GMR&SC Desiree Lee.
Acting on behalf of the sponsor was Shiva Sankar, who presented the cheque to Lee, during a simple ceremony and according to him the assistance is to go towards the staging of this Sunday’s Race Meet, at the South Dakota Circuit.
Lee responding on behalf of the GMR&SC thanked the Company for its continued support, adding that local motor racing has benefitted tremendously from the goodwill of the Company throughout the years and the recent gesture is a clear example of their care for the preservation of the sport.
