Correction
The British High Commissioner to Guyana is Andrew Ayre. He has been here for almost three years. Ms Victoria Dean, who was duly appointed plenipotentiary to CARICOM, on Wednesday, was erroneously reported to be the new British High Commissioner to Guyana.
We apologise for any embarrassment caused.
