AFC councilor dies
Alliance for Change Regional councillor, Bhowanie Persaud, a/k”Solomon” died at the Suddie Public Hospital, after a brief illness yesterday. He was 57-years-old.

A family member said that Persaud complained of feeling unwell several days back. He was subsequently taken to the Suddie Public Hospital but by then he was said to be suffering from a mild fever.
After receiving treatment from the Suddie Public Hospital, Persaud returned to his La Belle Alliance home, where he continued to complain of feeling unwell.
He subsequently died.
Persaud had replaced Archie Cordis as the Alliance For Change councillor. Persaud was a mechanic by profession.
