Ashmin’s Trading to undertake major expansion

Ashmin’s Group of Companies is looking to drastically expand its operations by expanding and adding more departments to its already extensive store located on Hadfield Street, Georgetown.

In response to growing customer demands for a ‘One Stop Shop,’ Ashmin’s Trading has now added an expanded supermarket to its list of departments.
According to Shelliza Allie, customers visiting the Ashmin’s ‘Super Mart,’ can expect a full supermarket experience, with a wider range of groceries, frozen items and haberdasheries.
She said that additionally, the company has now merged its already extensive household department with the supermarket, so that customers can satisfy both needs in one place.
Meanwhile, Directors of the company have said that the plan for expansion takes into consideration that all modern shopping malls and even department stores worldwide have an extended food/grocery option for shoppers.
It was noted too that the opening of the new Ashmin’s Supermarket will ensure that customers’ most basic need is satisfied to the fullest.
“Ashmin’s is currently one of only a few elite department stores currently offering a full service supermarket,” Allie highlighted.
She said that as consumers become more sophisticated and demanding, it is vital that businesses respond quickly to their needs.
“Throughout the company’s history, Ashmin’s has aggressively done that. In 2009, Ashmin’s made the switch from wholesale to retail, which received astounding support from the public.”
It was this response that led to the expansion of a range of departments, including electronics, household, hardware, car accessories, fashion, and now the newly opened supermarket.
Allie pointed out that in the near future, Ashmin’s will add a wholesale drinks depot to its already extensive department lines.
As if the company does not have enough fully stocked departments, Allie said that the company plans to “roll out a new service/department every eight weeks.”
In addition to the introduction and expansion of departments, the Ashmin’s Group of Companies has also been tapping into other feasible sectors such as tourism and real estate.
This is by way of the well-known Splashmin’s Fun Park and Resort, and the growing Madewini Villas Housing Development.
