Queen’s Baton Relay
Yesterday, Leader of the Opposition, Brigadier (Retired) David A. Granger and members of Guyana Youth and Student Movement participated in the Queen’s Baton Relay, which is the traditional curtain raiser for the XX Commonwealth Games.
Granger received the baton from members of the Rifle Association at Church and Light Streets and passed it onto members of the Free Mason Lodge at Church and New Garden Streets.
