Eccles biker’s killing…Witnesses testify as PI for Randy Jagdeo gets underway
Three witnesses were yesterday called to testify on behalf of the Prosecution as the Preliminary Inquiry (PI) into the death of biker, Kirk Davis, commenced at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

The preliminary inquiry is being heard by Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.
On November 21, last year the Prosecution stated that it will be leaning on eight witnesses to establish a case of murder against businessman Randy Jagdeo.
Jagdeo, 27, of Lot 159 Third Street Alexander Village, Georgetown is said to have murdered Davis at his Eccles, East Bank Demerara residence on September 3, last year.
At yesterday’s hearing, Randy Davis, the biker’s brother, was the first to take the stand. He told the court of the part he played in conducting of the post mortem of his brother’s body.
Next to give evidence in the matter was the biker’s employee, Carlos Da Santos Fiedtkou, who is said to have lived with Davis. Fiedtkou testified to what he would have witnessed at the time of the alleged shooting.
The third witness was Detective Corporal Wittingham, a crime lab photographer attached to the Criminal Investigations Division Headquarters, Eve Leary who, under oath related what he did during the investigation of the murdered man.
At the request of Corporal Bharat Mangru, who prosecuted, the Detective Corporal will return to court today to continue giving his evidence.
The Water Street businessman allegedly ventured to Davis’ house and invited him into his car then shot him 15 times about his body before he tossed him out of his vehicle. Jagdeo subsequently fled the jurisdiction then later surrendered.

Davis’ bullet-riddled body was picked up and taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
