Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ starts next Tuesday
The Georgetown Zone of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Futsal Competition is set to commence next Tuesday with eight matches, at the Banks DIH Car Park, commencing from 18:00 hrs.
According to a member of the Organising Committee, 32 teams have been invited to participate in the competition and teams’ representatives are being advised to pick their registration forms from Guinnes Bar on D’Urban Street.
Last year’s overall champions, Back Circle, which represented Guyana at the Caribbean Championship in St. Vincent & the Grenadines, will once again look to defend their title against teams such as Leopold Street, teams from Tiger Bay, Albouystown, Charlestown, West Ruimveldt, East La Penitence, the Island and other areas within Georgetown.
