Dear Editor,
This serves to inform the people of this country why cases of murder, etc. remain unsolved and this is due to slackness on behalf of the Guyana Police Force when it comes to executing their duties.
A truck driver killed four people by careless driving. When asked by the police how he acquired his driver’s licence, he replied “I don’t have anything to say, I am in pain.” ( 10 words spoken in 10 seconds), and the investigating team found that to be satisfactory.
The entire investigating team should be charged with negligence of duty. What extent of pain could that driver be experiencing in comparison to the families that lost their loved ones?
