Man crushed by truck on Rupert Craig Highway
The body of a man is now at the Lyken’s Funeral Parlour after he was struck down on the Rupert Craig Highway by a truck just after noon yesterday.
The man was identified by officials as Stanley Roach.
According to an eyewitness, around 1:00 pm yesterday, Roach was walking on the right side of the highway when he was struck from behind by a truck.
The source added that the man died on the spot. He was picked up by undertakers of the Lyken’s Funeral Parlour.
Up to press time, no relative of the dead man had come forward to claim the body.
