Congratulations, Mr. Brumell
Dear Editor,
I take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Leroy Brumell on his recent appointment as Commissioner of Police. I had the privilege of working with him on the East Coast of Demerara (“C” Division) shortly before I retired.
Unlike some of his predecessors, this commissioner is a man who is humble, polite and can be approached at anytime. I think by now we are all aware of his dedication and commitment to the job. He has demonstrated time and again that he is genuinely concerned about the development of the force and the country as a whole. With these attributes in his favour, I am confident that he will not only get the full support of the force, but the Guyanese public at large.
I pray that the Almighty God will continue to grant him good health, strength and wisdom as he carries out his onerous task at the helm of the Guyana Police Force.
