Hand-in-Hand cycle race programme set for National Park Saturday
National Cycling Coach, Hassan Mohamed MS has organized the 9th Annual Hand-in- Hand Insurance Company Limited (11) Race Cycle Programme for Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the National Park Circuit commencing at 09:00hrs.
The programme is sponsored by Hand-in-Hand Insurance Limited and representatives of that company will be on hand to distribute the prizes to the winning participants.
The defending champions from the 2012 event are:
School Boys & Invitation – 35 Laps – Michael Anthony – 1Hr/17Mins/22.05Secs.
Juveniles – 10 Laps – Michael Cummings – 22Mins/02Secs.
Veteran U–50 yrs – 5 Laps – Shameer Baksh – 11Mins/57Secs.
12 to 14 yrs Boys & Girls – 3 Laps – Alfie Soonaram – 07MIns
The action is expected to be keen among the cyclists who have been turning in good performances of recent. The schedule of events on Saturday’s programme are:
