Dear Editor,
I am grateful for your article for child protection week 2013 – “We want communities more involved” – Ann Greene, but once again I am disappointed over how the article was written.
There were too many incorrectly written statements and many put in quotes purporting to be said by me when they were more the interpretation of the writer to what I said during our conversation.
This is a young writer who should be encouraged to write properly, but what is the role of the editor or copy reader? Is it not to ensure correctness before publication? Ann Greene
