Dear Sir/Madam,
I was very impressed with the article written on the 12th September 2013 by Mr. Freddie Kissoon about Sherlock Isaacs, Clerk of the Parliament .Forty years ago as a young public servant, I met this gem of a man( then boy) at the Bartica regional office ,both of us working as Class 11 Clerks. There we became close friends .While most of his colleagues after spending sometime in public office, they moved onto greener pastures, Sherlock stayed and served the public office for both governments with professionalism, distinction and great leadership. If my memory is correct I am sure he has served the government for over forty years.
Knowing the kind of leader he is, I am absolutely certain that he would have trained and guided his subjects to take higher offices. If Mr. Isaacs wants to take it easy, then the government should allow him to bow out gracefully with more than his fair share of benefits. He is truly a distinguished and wonderful person and a great public officer. He is very dependable, reliable, hard-working, conscientious, honest, peace-loving and courteous person that I have happened to cross path with during my early years of serving public office.
May the all mighty God bless and guide this great servant of the people. Nazar Mohamed Mohamed’s Enterprise
