Pork knocker remanded on cannabis charge
George Duncan, 28, of 17 Cane Street, Meadowbrook, was remanded to prison after a possession of cannabis charge was read to him by Magistrate Ann Mc Lennan at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
It was alleged that on August 16, he had in his possession 30 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking to which he pleaded not guilty.
While the facts of the matter were not revealed in open court, the defendant was refused bail and is expected to appear before Chief Magistrate Priya Beharry on September 16.
