The three men who were previously remanded on a charge of conspiracy to traffic cocaine, have been granted release on a Supreme Court bond of $500,000 each.
Anthony Thomas, 28, Gregory Loo, 30, and Ravindra Singh, 19, appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on August 2, 2013 for allegedly conspiring to traffic 11.448 kilograms of cocaine via the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
The men had initially pleaded not guilty to the charges and were denied bail on that occasion.
