Pepsi Sonics Vocational Programme ongoing
The 2013 Pepsi Sonics Vocational Basketball Programme, which commenced last Saturday at the National Gymnasium continues during the week and is still open to interested participants, according to a release from the top-seeded club.
“The first day was basically an introductory to the programme and fundamentals of the game. Assistants were had from Merle Casey (Pepsi Sonics President) and Linda Whyte (One of the Vice-Presidents) and former national junior player, Mellisa Dow,” the release noted.
Director of Sports, Neil Kumar, who will give a pep talk to the participants on sports and other relevant topics, will be visiting the programme that commences at 10am each day, Monday to Friday, the club stated.
