T&T Karate Federation President receives US President award
Trinidad and Tobago Karate Federation (TTKF) President, Virginia Seebaran received the US President Physical Fitness Award for excellence for her contributions to the development of martial arts.

This award is bestowed upon individuals who unselfishly give their time and expertise to advancement of Sport in the United States.
Ms. Seebaran took over as President of the TTKF in December of 2007. Under her leadership the TTKF has secured lasting relationships with major World martial arts organizations. TTKF is well known for its pursuit of education ‘beyond black belt’. No other group has done so much to enhance and elevate the position of the martial arts coach, official and instructor.
Also receiving Presidential award was Nicholas Seebaran for karate officiating. Nicholas is the youngest referee certified by the World United Karate Organization (WUKO) and holds a Continental Referee license.
