Dear Editor:
A few observations.
1. Some minibus operators are installing small devices around the top of their buses as a substitute for the removal of boom boxes in their vehicles. It is very irritating to ones ears when turned up loudly.
2. A visit to the store colors in Robb Street to purchase a pair of shoes left me in shock when I heard obscenity in one of the songs playing in the store. The music was playing softly.
3. The investigation into Rodney’s death is most welcome in order to have closure. Let’s hope that the disappearance/death of hundreds of young men, the Lindo Creek murders and other mysterious deaths will be investigated so that there can be closure too.
I hope the international body that is responsible for Rodney’s investigation see this just as important and necessary for all those grieving mothers.
4. The recent spate of noise complaints /the burning of the woman in Kitty the man who lost his life as a result of noise should be seen as a more stern and rigorous campaign by the Home Affairs Minister and the police department to rid the country of this disease. almost everywhere noise still exists.
5. Too many accidents, fire, murders and corruption. Observer
