Dear Editor,
It is with great disgust and frustration that I write this letter to let the relevant authorities know how fed up I am reporting and writing letters to them.
I am a resident of Aubrey Barker Road, South Ruimveldt.
This neighbourhood was a peaceful and quiet place„ until a business carrying the name ‘The Garage’ opened doors some months ago on the reserved land.
I wrote, along with other residents, several letters to the East La Penitence Police Station also the Ministry of Home Affairs several letters of complaints, but to no avail, no one seems to care about the people in this area and its surrounding. This place is playing very loud music every night. When the weekend comes the music gets even louder and goes until about four hours (4:00 a.m.) . Imagine, the music is so loud that the windows on my house vibrate. They sometimes have shows there, where the patrons even park their vehicles blocking vehicles at my premises. Also the road is impassable when vehicles are parked on both sides of the road.
This situation is very much overbearing. I do not know where else to turn for some relief from this situation. I am so fed up. Concerned resident
