Revlon Lake has endured mixed fortunes on the Guyana Fight Night Boxing Card organized by the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC). Few could forget that crunching left hook that sent Mark Austin to the canvass for the full count.
Lake was not that fortunate when he opposed Clive Atwell for the local Lightweight title in December last year and was knocked out in the 3rd round.
Now, six months later, Lake returns and will oppose Dexter Gonsalves for the local Jnr/Lightweight title when the GBBC presents its June edition of Guyana Fight Night at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH), June 28 next.
This is the main attraction of a 4 bouts card that will feature Derick Richmond against veteran, Troy Lewis, in a 4 rounds Middleweight encounter, while Welterweight, Lared Stewart will make his professional debut against Anson Green, also over 4 rounds. Middleweight, Eversley Browne will then oppose Romeo Norville over 4 rounds.
The boxers will convene this afternoon at Abdools and Abdools Insurance Brokers, Avenue of the Republic for the contract signing ceremony.
