Scotiabank supports Bartica Regatta
Scotiabank, in keeping with its cooperate responsibility of giving back to the community, has come on board as a sponsor of the Bartica Regatta. The bank recently handed over a cheque to the Bartica Regatta Committee in collaboration with & DC Promotion group, who are staging the event.

The Bartica Easter Regatta, the biggest in the country, attracts Guyanese from all walks of life and is an action packed event over two days that features several events that is highlighted by the powerboat racing. Again this year it is anticipated to attract large crowds and Scotiabank is contributing to ensuring a successful staging of the mega event. Mrs. Nirvana Burnette handed over the sponsorship cheque to Bartica Regatta representative Ms. Simonette Layne recently.
