The family of a woman, said to be in her 60s, is making her funeral arrangements after she succumbed at a City Hospital.
The woman, Volda Sancharie, formerly of Bush Lot, Back Street, on the Essequibo Coast, alleged died some time Wednesday, after she was transported to a City Hospital for medical attention.
A close relative explained that his grandmother, who, after finished preparing a meal on Wednesday was about to remove the stew pot when she experienced a dizziness and fell. During the fall she pulled both the stove and pot to the ground on herself.
Sancharie sustained burns to her chest and hands. She was subsequently taken to a City Hospital where she died.
