APNU congratulates GFA
“The leader of the opposition Brigadier David Granger MSS MP, along with members and supporters of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU) would like to congratulate the members of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) on a successful Annual General Meeting and elections,” the party said in a release.
The release continued, “Brigadier Granger and the APNU congratulate Mr. Vernon Burnett on his re-election as President of the GFA. APNU congratulates the newly elected members of the executive and wish them a successful period of service to the football community.
APNU sees Saturday’s election as a significant first step forward towards reconciliation, rebuilding and re-development of football in Guyana.”
